California ban on same-sex marriage struck down

"In contrast to earlier times, our state now recognizes that an individual's capacity to establish a loving and long-term committed relationship with another person and responsibly to care for and raise children does not depend upon the individual's sexual orientation," the court said in the 120-page ruling, "and, more generally, that an individual's sexual orientation -- like a person's race or gender -- does not constitute a legitimate basis upon which to deny or withhold legal rights." (emphasis mine)

I've had a busy year. I miss
I've had a busy year. I miss you guys a lot, and I don't know when I'll see you all again - I've got a few weddings to go to this summer, which are going to drain my free time and traveling money.
And not only do I have a significant other, I have a fiancee :-) Now that I think about it, I met her since the last time I saw you, back at OATS. We've only been together 9 months, but it couldn't be going better, and we're gettin hitched next September.
